BJP rally turns into a flop show in Udalguri

Pratidin Bureau

An election rally of BJP-led alliance in the State has turned into a flop show on Thursday at Bhergaon under Udalguri. The BJP failed to attract voters to an election rally, where Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass was supposed to attend.

Empty chairs at the venue greeted the leaders during the election rally as the party failed to gather an adequate number of spectators at the rally venue. The rally was organised in support of BJP candidate Dilip Saikia.

Also as weather stood as a hurdle for the rally, not a single MLA of BPF, BTC executive members or MCLAs were present at the time of campaigning.
