BJP Releases First List Of Candidates For TAC Elections 2020

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday declared its first list of candidates who will be contesting in the Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) election 2020 which is scheduled on December 17.

This was informed through a press release issued by the Assam Pradesh BJP State General Secretary Rajdeep Roy.

While Marigaon district have 19 candidates contesting in the election, Nagaon district have eight, four from Guwahati and one each from Kaliabor and Nagaon districts.

The polling would start at 7.30 am and would last upto 4.30 pm. The re-polls (if any) would be conducted on December 18 and the counting would be done on December 19 from 8 am onwards. A total of 100 polling stations have been allocated across the state.
