BJP expels Pradip Dutta Roy

Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled Pradip Dutta Roy from its primary membership after his provocative remarks against  Assamese Students on January 11 .

Assam BJP state president Ranjit Kumar Das expelled Roy as a disciplinary measure and not abiding by  the party norms.

Earlier on Friday,  Gauhati High Courts Senior Advocate, Roy  expressed his  surprise in a video message that Assamese students of the Assam University dared to raise voice against the CAB and asked them to stay away from Assam University.

The president of All Cachar-Karimganj-Hailakandi Students' Association (ACKHSA), Roy, threatened that if the Students protest again then Assamese students would not be allowed entry into Assam University in future.

A case was also filed by Durnitibirudhi Oikya Mancha at Golaghat police station against Roy for his provocative statements.
