After the arrest of 5 blood brokers within a month in Silchar Medical College Hospital, one more blood broker has been nabbed by the blood bank authority of Silchar Satindra Mohan dev Civil Hospital on Friday.

As per reports, the broker has been identified as Chandan Guwala who donated blood in Silchar Civil Hospital on last Tuesday. It may be stated that The broker again came to donate blood to a woman named Safina Bibi, in exchange of Rs 5000.

The whole incident came to light when the blood bank authority suspected him and immediately informed the whole matter to SM Dev hospital authority.

Reportedly, a case has been registered against the broker in Silchar Sadar police Station and later he was handed over to police.
