Sensation prevailed in west Karbi Anglong's Pisiyar village under Jirikideng Police Station after a border outpost (BOP) was constructed in Assam's land by Meghalaya authorities.

Due to the pressure exerted by the locals and Karbi Anglong police, the BOP, however, was demolished and shifted.

It may be mentioned here that last week one border outpost built on Assam land was forcefully dismantled by the Meghalaya authorities.
