Boys Rescued In Duliajan

  • Two boys were rescued from Duliajan railway station early on Tuesday morning.
  • The duo, whose mother is dead, was left behind in the station by their father.
  • The duo was first spotted by a lady who had gone to the Panchayat Office located near the Duliajan railway station where she saw the two boys crying.
  • When asked, they told the lady that there mother was dead and their father used to beat them regularly and had left them behind at the station.
  • The lady then informed the police about the boys.
  • The police arrived and rescued them.
  • Upon investigation it was known that the two children are from Dimapur.
  • The children are now in the custody of Dibrugarh unit of Child Line.
