A buscarrying a troop of 93BN of BSF met with an accident at Umtyra in East Jaintia Hillsdistrict of Meghalaya and fell into a gorge from the NH-6. According toreports, the driver of the bus died on the spot, while 20 BSF jawans sustainedinjuries during the accident.

Thetroop was reportedly on the way to Silchar from Jagiroag. The bus was requisitionby BSF and around 20 BSF personnel of 93rd Bn boarded the bus. 3 BSF jawanssustained serious injuries, informed an official of BSF.

Meanwhile,all 20 BSF personnel and the co-driver of the bus shifted from Khliehriat CHCto NEIGRIHMS for further treatment.
