In asensational incident, a businessman was shot dead by unknown miscreants inDibrugarh town on Tuesday evening. The deceased has been identified as OmPrakash Agarwala.

Accordingto reports, the incident took place near the Eidgah field at Grahambazar areain the town. However, the miscreants absconded from the scene immediately afterthe incident.

Meanwhile,police have reached the spot and initiated an investigation. The reason behindthe incident is yet to be ascertained.
