Cattle Smuggling Rampant in State, Two Arrested

The cattle smuggling in the state has left the people in the state of dilemma as trucks full of cows are being smuggled to other states and neighbouring countries on a daily basis.

In an operation launched by Doboka police against cattle smuggling, a truck laden with cows have been seized from 36 No National Highway. 37 number of cows were being carried on the truck bearing registration number ML 10C 1157.

Police also apprehended the driver and the handyman of the truck who was carrying the cows. Although the police have started investigation still the kingpin of the cattle smuggling has not yet known.
