Ahead of the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, a flying squad team, SST & police seized Rs 13 lakh worth of cash from a Maruti van in Chirang, this evening. Three people have been detained in connection with the seizure.

A huge amount of unaccounted money is being recovered in raids and searches by authorities across the country since Model Code of Conduct came into effect with the announcement of the poll dates on March 10.
