City Buses Will Now Have to Follow ‘Time Card’

The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has come up with a new rule forthe city buses to prevent traffic chaos in the city.

The RTA has given 'Time Card' to the city buses, and it will have to ply on the roads according to the time card.

The RTA and traffic police have jointly organized an awareness programme in Khanapara on the new rule implemented for the regulation of city bus service.

An official of RTA said that a 'Time Card' will be given to each bus before they start their journey. The rule of time card is that no city bus could overtake another bus and has to ply normally on the road.

The RTA official said that they are hopeful that this new rule willreduce traffic chaos in the city.
