The arrest of the Principal of Faculty Higher Secondary School, Jugal Chandra Bora for allegedly molesting a Gauhati University student in a bus has been said as a conspiracy against him by the school authority.

Addressing apress conference, the teachers and employees of the school said that this hasbeen a sheer conspiracy against the Principal and condemned the incident. They saidthat Bora didn't have any such record of harassing women in the workplace aswell.

The teachersand employees also said that this has been a conspiracy to defame the schooland the Principal.

According toreports, Bora has sexually harassed the girl on a bus while she was travellingto Gauhati University from Mangaldoi.

The girlalleged that Bora had touched her inappropriately who was sitting next to her.

However, theincident was recorded in mobile phone by a co-passenger, as per the report andhelped the victim to file a case with the video footage as evidence atJalukbari police outpost.

Based on thecomplaint, the police arrested Bora on Sunday night from his residence atNarengi area in the city.

Meanwhile,the Chief Judicial Magistrate court, Kamrup has ordered the accused to be injudicial custody for 14 days.

Bora,however, denied the allegation against him and said that he has been framed.
