CM Leaves For Majuli On Two-Day Visit

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Wednesday left for a two-day visit to river island Majuli.

Sonowal had chaired a meeting with the officials of Brahmaputra board, water resource department and panchayat at conference hall of Majuli district commissioner office.

As the swollen Brahmaputra inundated large parts of Majuli last year, Sonowal had sit in the discuss with the officials regarding flood-control measures in the river island.
