CM Sarma Announces Rs 40 Crore For Development Of Mariani Tea Garden Line

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday campaigned on behalf of Rupjyoti Kurmi in Mariani and announced Rs. 40 crore for the development of the Mariani Tea Garden line.

The Chief Minister also promised arrangements for door-to-door water at the Mariani Tea garden line for their valuable votes to Rupjyoti Kurmi.

He announced new establishments of ten schools from class VI to XII.

CM Sarma assured that all the tea garden workers of Mariani will be given MGNREGA cards and they will be able to work within the garden in the MGNREGA scheme.

He also announced that all tea workers will be provided with the Atal Amrit card.

The students of the Tea gardens will have an increase in the reservation of seats from 20 to 25 for studying in Medical colleges, said CM Sarma.
