Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday held an urgent meeting with senior officials of National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in Dibrugarh and reviewed road conditions across the State.

NHIDCL General Manager Ajit Pal Singh informed that repairing works of National Highways in Dibrugarh have started from early morning on Thursday.

Stressing on construction of all-weather roads, CM Sonowal directed NHIDCL to ensure better maintenance of roads across the State.

Sarbananda Sonowal also directed the officials to keep adequate stock of construction materials ready and use modern technology in maintaining roads.
