CM Sonowal meets Shah, Doval

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday met HomeMinister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to discuss variousissues concerning the state.

They are likely to discuss the impact of a possible peacepact with the Naga outfits on Assam, the progress of the talks with ULFA, NDFBand other militant groups in Assam and the big dam issue.

The meeting was held at Home Minister Amit Shah's residence.

Sonowal's Delhi visit comes amidst a renewed agitation inthe State over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill issue and uproar overprivatization move of NRL.
