CM Sonowal out on flood inspection

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday visited Sarthebari in Barpeta to inspect the flood situation in the district.

Sonowalalong with Ministers Bhabesh Kalita, Topon Gogoi and his Media AdvisorHrishikesh Goswami arrived at the office of the Sarthebari Circle Officer toget an overall view of the situation.

Accordingto reports, the CM along with the DC and the circle officers will take stock ofthe situation of flood in the district.

During thevisit, the Chief Minister will also meet with the departmental heads of thevarios departments of the district.

Sonowal,also inspected flood relief camps Nalbari and took stock of rescue and reliefmeasures being undertaken in the district. He also interacted with the floodaffected, medical staff and officials.
