Congress Gives Everything to Bhubaneswar: Ripun Bora

Reacting to Bhubaneswar Kalita's resignation, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Ripun Bora said that the party has given everything to him and that he has not resigned on any idealistic reason.  

Borasaid that no one could be detained in the party forcefully. Many leaders ofCongress have quit the party and many still wants to join the party.

Speakingabout APCC General Secretary, Dulu Ahmed's move to the High Court, Bora saidthat taking of party issues to the court is violation of disciplinary rules. Hesaid that the committee will take action against Dulu Ahmed as he has violatedthe rules.

Borafurther informed that the party is preparing to hold by-polls in fourlegislative assembly constituencies.

Meanwhile,Senior Congress leader Bhumidhar Barman said that it is the responsibility ofthe party members to solve the problems of the party.
