Court Releases 2 Arrested Bengali Leaders In The Silchar Assamese Hoarding Case

The two Bengali leaders that were arrested for the Assamese language insult case in Barak Valley have been released on Wednesday.

The Silchar court on Wednesday has released Samar Das and Raju Dev on bail who were arrested in the case of the Assamese government poster in Silchar.

The two leaders were arrested for allegedly rubbing black colour on Assamese government hoardings and asking to write bengali in Barak valley.

The hoardings of "Jal Jivan Mission" were put in the Silchar Railway station and ISBT which were later stained with black colour.
