COVID-19: Active cases rise to 7760 in Assam

Assam as of date has recorded 1117 active cases of coronavirus infection on Friday pushing the active cases tally in the state to 7760.

Out of 1117 active cases reported yesterday, 515 cases are from Kamrup (Metro), stated Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.

15165 cases have recovered and discharged from COVID-19 hospitals and care centres.

Meanwhile, 53 victims have succumbed to the disease. The total number of positive cases in the state now stands at 22981.
