COVID-19 Assam: 10 More Succumb

The state of Assam has lost another 10 persons to COVID-19 today. With these deaths, the death toll in the state has gone up to 370.

The deceased people were from different districts including Kamrup (M), Dibrugarh, Karimganj, Nalbari and Sivasagar.

This was informed by Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on his Twitter handle.

Earlier in the day, Minister of State (Independent) Pijush Hazarika said that the fatality rate is on a rise in the state.

He also commented on the current COVID-19 scenario in the state by saying that things are slowly spiralling out of control, and that if people don't adhere to the safety protocols, situation could get worse.
