COVID-19 Assam: 36-Year-Old Dies

Another person lost his life to COVID-19 in Assam today. This takes the state's death toll to 39.

The deceased's name is Ashish Sahewal (36), and he breathed his last at Jorhat Medical College and Hospitals (JMCH). He didn't have any history of comorbidities.

State Health Minister announced this on Twitter by writing, "Sad to share that Jorhat's Ashish Sahewal (36), with no history of comorbidities, presented with sudden onset breathing difficulty at 5 am at JMCH, and lost the fight at 2.20 pm. He was #COVID +."

Earlier in the day, Assam had lost three lives to the deadly contagion.
