COVID-19 Assam: Another Woman Dies In Darrang

COVID-19 has claimed another life in Assam. The deceased – Rekha Dutta – breathed her last at Mangaldoi Civil Hospital on Tuesday.

However, she was found to be carrying the contagion only after her death. A resident of L.N.B. Road, Dutta, who was 65 years old, was rushed to the hospital after she faced difficulty in breathing.

She died soon after getting admitted to the hospital. Dutta was also a high blood pressure patient.

This is the second woman to have died to COVID-19 in Darrang. Even in the previous case, it was only after the death of the deceased that she was found to be COVID-19 positive.
