COVID-19 has claimed another life.

A prominent political figure of Karbi Anglong named Baburam Be breathed his last on the night of Tuesday, and he was found to be positive for COVID-19 after his death.

Be was in charge of Howraghat constituency, and was admitted to Dimapur Nikos Hospital five days before.

The deceased was a patient of high blood pressure.
