Covid has now entered Stage =III of Community spreading in Guwahati and it is officially Pandemic as majority of the Covid positive cases did not have travel history.

This was today formally announced by Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma. With the recent spurt in the number of active cases in Guwahati without travel history, the problem is very much local now.

Yesterday little less than 800 people turned positive only at Guwahati making the capital city of Assam as the most dangerous place to live in the entire North Eastern India.

Many neighbouring districts have banned travel with Guwahati city even as authorities have given some relaxation from tomorrow.
