COVID-19 pregnant woman delivers baby in Sivasagar

A pregnant coronavirus infected woman delivered a baby in Sivasagar in the wee hours of Saturday.

The lady Kajal Panging from Amguri was first admitted to the Sivasagar government hospital was transferred to the Civil hospital where she gave birth to a baby at 2.30 am.

Gynecologist Prashant Pratim Sarma and senior nurse Sonmoni Tamuli along with a team of nurses conducted the delivery. The baby's COVID-19 test will be conducted today.
