CRPF Jawan Commits Suicide In Bijni

A CRPF jawan allegedly committed suicide on Monday by shooting himself with his service weapon at a paramilitary's camp in Ballamguri.

The jawan was on security duty in the camp when he took the extreme step this afternoon according to reports.

When Musahari's colleagues heard the gunshot, they rushed to the place and found him lying in a pool of blood.

Immediately, he was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead.

He was a native of Dotma village of Kokrahar district.

The exact reason which prompted him to take his life was yet to be ascertained, however a per reports the constable took the drastic step due to personal conflict with his family.

A case has been registered in this connection and, his family is being informed about the incident.

Similar incident occurred on September 24th when a A CRPF jawan named Digambar Madhab  committed suicide at the Jaimati Pathar camp in Sonitpur district.

According to police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly fired from his INSAS rifle inside the camp under Tezpur police station and died on the spot.
