In a road accident in Raha on Wednesday evening, a cyclist was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding vehicle.

According to reports, one Tutumoni Das was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding vehicle in front of Raha College on NH-37 on Wednesday evening.

The vehicle, bearing registration number AS-01-EC-6323, was on its way to Guwahati when it hit the cycle-borne Das as he was trying to cross the road.
A seriously injured Das was immediately taken to the hospital.

The vehicle sped away from the spot after the accident.
