Police on Thursday apprehended Devina Baruah's boyfriend Sunit Goswami in relation to her attack on Wednesday.

Policesuspected that Sunit was involved in her attack and apprehended him forinterrogation.

Policesuspect that Sunit has attacked Devina as he has her money of the auctionedhome of Devina worth Rs. 10 lakh which he kept with himself.

However,police said that Devina was attacked with some iron rod.

Moreover,when interrogated Sunit denied his involvement in the incident saying thatpolice cannot arrest him based on suspect and that he has not attacked her.
