Assam: Woman Found Dead At Dibrugarh Bypass; Family Alleges Foul Play

In an incident that unfolded at Bokul village in Assam’s Dibrugarh during the early hours of Sunday, the lifeless body of a young woman was discovered lying on the bypass road along with another injured person.

According to sources, the police suspect that both of them may have met with a fatal road accident.

The deceased young woman has been identified as Mehek Sharma whereas the young man who was lying unconscious near her body is identified as Aziz Ahmed

Alongside, an Innova vehicle was recovered at the scene.

Sources indicate that the mother of the deceased woman has alleged of foul play.

Currently, the young man is under the police custody.

Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and to identify the victims.
