Assam Government today suspended Deputy Director Kanakeshwar Borgohain for mistakes in the text advertisement and drawn departmental proceedings against another officer Manjurani Das.

However their suspension is nothing to do with ongoing appointment scandal of both Panchayat & Rural Development as well as of the Directorate and Information and Public relation.

Their mistake was text of the Advertisement on the occasion of Kanaklata death anniversary and Jyoti Divas.
