DPS school bus crashes into tree

A Delhi Public School (DPS) bus carrying 30 students and teachers crashed into a tree on Friday in Jalukbari. As per reports 18 students and four teachers have been injured in the accident.

The speeding bus went off the road around 9am and then struck a tree head-on.

The seriously injured driver had to be extricated from the bus and was transported by ambulance. All are injured are undergoing treatment at Excel Care Hospital, Boragaon

Eyewitnesses claim that the speeding school bus tried to overtake a vehicle after which it lost control and rammed into the tree.

Police have started probe of the incident.
