Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Aditya Prakash Deori, IC Jalukbari police out post managed to detain four drug suppliers and seized six containers of heroin worth thousands of rupees, syringes, cash and some other offensive goods.

During the operation, Jalukbari Police have caught Sanjay Biswas and Deepak Das from near the Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Kshetra on Thursday.

Based on their interrogation, Jalukbari police arrested two more drug peddlers Abhishek Roy and Ismita Kumar from Maligaon.
