In an operation launched by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Numaligarh-Karbi Anglong border, five persons have been apprehended and seized drugs worth lakhs of rupees.

The arrestedpersons have been identified as Rubul Saikia, Putul Saikia, Robinson Rongpi,Martin Kathar and Manyanti Bagati.

Brown sugar worthlakhs of rupees have been seized from the persons.

Meanwhile, Nagaonpolice have also seized huge amounts of drugs and apprehended six persons in anoperation launched under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Gaurabjyoti Mahanta.
