Drugs seizure in Merapani

A large consignment of illegal drugs was seized on Tuesday evening at Merapani in Golaghat.

One Hussain Ali was arrested for the smuggling of the drugs. The drugs were recovered in a joint operation led by Assam police and CRPF personnel.
