In a shocking incident, three men were found thrashing a kid in one of the most well known orphanages in Guwahati – Snehalaya.

The three accused, who were intoxicated under the influence of alcohol and were out of their senses, went on a thrashing spree on Sunday night as the unfortunate kid could not escape their madness.

Out of the three, police have identified two of the accused. The two identified are Bishnu Das and Akaman Das. The third one is still absconding.

On previous instances too there were reports of violence and assault from the orphanage but did not come to light.

Authorities of Snehalaya have registered an FIR with Paltan Bazar police station in this regard.
