Twoyouths hailing from Duliajan have been arrested and a pistol, three-livebullets have been seized from them on Sunday. The accused were identified as TarunSonowal and Pari Manjhi.

Anofficer of Duliajan Police said that the accused were nabbed from Tengakhatarea, based on a tip-off. Duliajan Police and Forest Officials carried thejoint operation to nab the youths.

Offencesagainst the accused have been registered at Duliajan Police Station and theofficer also informed that further investigation was underway, to determine howthey smuggled the arms and who was the intended buyer of the same.
