Amild intensity earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale today jolted Assamand neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh.

The tremors were felt at around 4:34 PM, this evening. The epicenter of the quake is said to be at Myanmar-India Border Region.

No damage or casualties have been reported so far.
