Earthquake strikes Mizoram, Tremors felt in parts of Assam

An earthquake of 5.1-magnitude struck Mizoram on Sunday at 4:16 PM. Apart from this state, the tremors were also felt in other parts of Northeast such as Guwahati and other parts of Assam.

As per latest updates from the National Center for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter Scale hit 25 km east-northeast of Aizawl, Mizoram at 4:16:24 (IST) on Sunday.
