Elderly woman killed in wild elephant attack

A 60-year-old woman from Parugaon area in Boko was trampled to death by a wild elephant on Tuesday. The incident happened when the woman, Surmila Rabha, went to a forest nearby.

According to reports, the woman was missing since Tuesday noon. She went to the woods in search of firewood. A wild elephant attacked the woman on Tuesday. She died on the spot.

Meanwhile, the residents from Parugaon alleged that the locality often faced terror of wild elephants.
