Elephant rampage in Guwahati

A wild elephant has entered human inhabited area at Bagharbori of Panjabari in the city from nearby Amchang forest on Friday early morning.

The elephant went berserk and damaged houses and several vehicles, reports said.

According to reports, the elephant entered Bagharbori and Panjabari of Guwahati and started destroying buildings and vehicles.

Forest personnel rushed to the spot.

4 persons, Hari Das, Bobita Das, Rahul Das, Upen Das along with a woman were injured after being attacked by the wild elephant.
