Elephants Vandalise Houses In Nagaon

Man-elephant conflicts have turned ugly in Nagaon district of Assam with the rates of such incidents rising at an alarming rate.

In such an incident, three families in Barhampur'sNedhargaon village were attacked by a herd of elephants on Monday night.

The families of Gopal Saikia, Mitharam Saikia,and Bhadreswar Saikia managed to flee just on time.

Even though no one from the families were hurt,however, the herd of jumbos vandalised their houses completely.
