England beat India by 5 wickets, clinch series

Once again the England women's cricket team defeated India by 5 wickets in the second T20I of the three-match series in Guwahati on Thursday to clinch the series.

Chasing the target of 112 runs at the Barsapara Stadium, England completed the task in 19.1 overs. England's opener Danielle Wyatt was top-scorer with an unbeaten 64 off 55 balls.

Earlier, winning the toss England invited India to bat first. Mithali Raj was the top scorer for India with 20 off 27 balls, while Deepti Sharma and Bharati Fulmali contributed 18 each.

This was India's sixth straight loss in the T20I format. England won the first match by 41 runs.
