Failed to attend CM program, Officer suspended

A senior officer of Assam Government has been suspended for not attending Chief Minister's programme organized by Directorate of Cultural Affairs in Rangia on July 31.

As per reports, Food Safety officer, Kamrup Bhabesh Bhuyan has been suspended from his post for the mentioned reason with immediate effect under Rule 6 (1) of the Assam Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1964.

The presence of Bhabesh Bhuyan was mandated at the event. Besides,Bhuyan was released from his post in Kamrup and transferred to Lakhimpur with immediateeffect but he did not comply with the government directive. As such, BhabeshBhuyan has been suspended until further notice.
