Family drugged and robbed on train

An incident of a family being robbed on a train after being sedated has come to light.  The incident has taken place on the sixth coach of the Guwahati-Silchar passenger train.

According to reports, a family of four had been drugged after which they were robbed of all their belongings.

The family, residents of Patharkandi in Karimganj, was later admitted to Lumding Hospital.

The family of four has been identified as Biju Singh, Bimla Singh, Doby Singh and Vivek Singh.
