Fani: 34 stranded Assam pilgrims reach Nalbari

Withthe continuous effort of the government of Assam, the group of 34 pilgrims fromAssam's Nalbari district has finally reached their home town. The group ofpilgrims was brought from Kolkata in the Kanchanjungha Express on Sunday.

According to reports, they left Odisha's Puri prior to the beginning of Cyclone Fani in Odisha. They have been safely brought to Kolkata from cyclone affected Puri on Friday.

Meanwhile, they group of pilgrims complained that the Odisha administration has not provided any kind of help to them. They also alleged harassments by the railway staffs in the train to Kolkata.
