Feb 26 : Rahul to sound poll bugle in Assam

Congress president, Rahul Gandhi will sound the poll bugle in Assam ahead of the Lok Sabha elections on February 26. He will address a rally of party workers in Guwahati and hold a meeting of the North-East Congress Coordination Committee, a platform of party leaders from the seven states in the region.

Another two programmees will be held at Srimanta Kalakshetra on the same day, where at 3.30 pm, he will address the Northeast congress Co-ordination Committee and the other at 5 pm, where he will participate in a meeting with the Block and District Presidents of Congress.

The BJP has already started its election campaign in the state, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing two rallies and party president Amit Shah addressing one rally in Assam.
