FIR against ‘Oikyo Sena’ leader

Firecracker traders of Guwahati have lodged FIR in Bharalumukh Police station against 'Oikyo Sena' for involving extortion and collecting money in the name of the organisation.

Shahidul Islam, a leader of 'Oikyo Sena' had demanded money from the firecracker traders of the city. – According to the traders.

"The leader threatened us that -If we can't pay the money, then we have to shut down our shops"- they added.

Reportedly, the leader demanded Rs 10 lakh on behalf of 'Oikyo Sena'.
