Pratidin Bureau

An FIR has been lodged against Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Morigaon Police Station on Wednesday for addressing the chief of Pakistan based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), as "Masood Azhar ji". The FIR has been lodged against Gandhi by an NGO 'Sahay'.

Earlier, addressing a public meeting in New Delhi on Monday, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi had said, "These people with 56-inch chest, you would recall, in their previous government, the current National Security Advisor Ajit Doval went in an aircraft with Masood Azhar ji and handed over Masood Azhar there in Kandahar."

It should be noted that Azhar led JeM claimed responsibility for the Pulwama attack in February 14, where 40 CRPF jawans were martyred.
