At least five persons were killed and four others injured when a truck collided with a tempo in Goraimari area under Bongaigaon district. The incident took place on the National Highway 31 at around 2:30 PM, locals said.

Police have reached the spot immediately after the accident and investigating the accident. The deceased are yet to identify, the police officials said.

Meanwhile, the injured were admitted to a hospital nearby. Locals demanded strict action against the driver of the truck.
